The SUNRISE story began in 1996 under the name FILM TRIBE PRODUCTION. The production company, founded by Andrea Salvetti and Miride Bollesan, made a name for themselves by producing Festivalbar and the first global Oscar della Lirica and numerous music videos of Italian and international artists like Litfiba, Alexia and Bob Marley. An example? Litfiba, Alexia and Bob Marley.
SUNRISE also produced many monographs directed at the Italian and international markets, working with big names such as Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Laura Pausini, Ligabue, Ricky Martin and Biagio Antonacci. Continuing in the music field, it also produced, in collaboration with Heineken, a series of twelve documentaries “Musical cities” which were shot in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin, New Orleans, New York and Rio, Enzo’s Avitabile’s documentary “My Soul Express” (broadcasted on Sky Arte), Marco Mengoni’s DVD “Re Matto” and the documentary “Giovanni racconta Allevi” (for Sony Music International).
They also worked on the production of the first International Opera Reward in Italy for the Fondazione Arena di Verona; provided artistic consultancy and production supervision within the Canarias Sun Live Festival in Spain (for “Simply Red Live In Tenerife” and Michael Bolton’s live show) as well as for the Neapolis Festival. Moreover, SUNRISE oversaw the editing of the two official videos of “Rockin’1000 – That’s Live in Paris 2019” (directed by Christian Gandini), the 1,000-element super-band project born in Cesena in 2015.
The pride of SUNRISE is the production of one of the most popular and long-lived music shows on Italian television that has left a memorable mark on the collective memory and pop imagination of many generations: FESTIVALBAR.
With the advertisement for “Smemoranda” SUNRISE won the KEY AWARDS prize followed by the aspired BIT award for the best tourist film “Cuba and Santo Domingo”.
